About
Located in the Saclay tech hub south of Paris, Nanovation is an oxide semiconductor company with over 25 years of experience in the development, production, and commercialisation of epiwafers and nano‑arrays.
Building on this epifoundry heritage, the company pioneered the deployment of gallium‑oxide–based photodetectors in space, and is now translating this technology to address a range of solar‑blind UVC and X‑ray sensing applications where conventional semiconductor technologies fall short.
Alongside these activities, Nanovation is involved in numerous collaborative R & D projects. Novel UVC imaging systems based on arrays of its photodetectors form a key innovation axis, complemented by exploratory work on oxide‑based devices for next‑generation power electronics.
